Only men. She already regretted her decision. But this was the last bus. There was no other mode of transport. No metro. No Auto. She sat near to the door. Her hand was in her purse clutching her pepper spray. It was a 25 mins ride. Her stop arrived and she got off.
Nothing happened.

Note: I write this story today, when the world celebrates "**_International Women's Day_**". This is not a good story. This is not an interesting story either. But it is fiction. And that is unfortunate. This makes me sad. I have nothing personally against "**_Women's Day_**". I just feel it should be a day when we celebrate empowered women. A day to thank them for all that they do for us. Instead it is a day when we talk about empowering women. The first step to empowerment is equality. That we (men) treat them as equals. Instead we have assigned them a day of the year to feel special. It's not a day of celebration that they seek. Just equality. I could be wrong. For I am a man. Women, What do you want?
