I am sure all of us have at one point or the other googled ourselves. Most of them are just curious as to see what they will find. I for one do it very frequently. And no i am not in love with myself. Well I am but that is not the point. The whole reason of doing this is do a reality check of where I stand in this world. Some might call it unfortunate but there are some very successful “Akhil Gupta”s in this world. Real life leader of men. Whenever I do a check it makes me realize that there is a long way to go before I make a mark on this world. Let me just point out a few Akhil Guptas that have really made their name and I consider my real competition

I know this might seem shallow at first but let me tell you I just don’t want to beat all the Akhil Gupta’s in the world. I admire the fact that these people have achieved great success and are known for the good work they have done. It is beyond getting your name on the top. I know SEO and I can easily achieve that with a little effort. But this is beyond names. It is about the achievements and the respect that you get from your peers. Most of them are mentioned in press releases and posts written on them. That is all that matters. I congratulate all my namesakes for being at the top and want to send out a message - I am coming there. I will just have to do it one Akhil at a time.
PS: A small note to all my namesakes, mentioned or not. I did not mean any offence to any one of you. I respect you all. I don’t just want to outrank you on Google. I can do that with changing my name to something unique :) I just want to achieve the success and respect that you have achieved with your hard work.
